Who can publish a Death Notice on RIP.ie?
Death notices may ONLY be added to RIP.ie by a funeral director or a member of the RIP.ie team and access to the Funeral Directors Area is protected through the use of a confidential username and password.
All funeral directors in Ireland have access to RIP.ie for the purpose of publishing their death notices. It should therefore not be necessary for a family to contact a funeral director, other than the funeral director undertaking the funeral, to publish the death notice on RIP.ie. Where this happens the funeral director should simply advise the family that only the funeral director who is undertaking the funeral can publish the death notice on RIP.ie and should this funeral director have any difficulty doing this, they can contact RIP.ie directly for assistance.
