How long do notices remain in “Recently Published” list?
By default, the notice you publish today will remain in the list of “Recently Published Notices” for two days, i.e. today and tomorrow.
To display a notice in this list for longer, when publishing the notice, select the date of burial or cremation from the calendar, by clicking the box. The notice will display up to and including this date. Thereafter the notice still remains on the site and can be found via a "surname" or "county" search.
DO NOT SELECT A DATE AFTER BURIAL OR CREMATION.
If you forgot to extend the date beyond the default display duration period of 2 days, you can do this after the notice is published, as follows:
- Open the notice in “Edit” mode
- Selecting the burial or cremation date from the calendar
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “update notice”.
This will ensure that your notice continues to display in the list of “Recently Published Notices”.
