IMPORTANT: Notices on RIP.ie are published IMMEDIATELY, so if today or tomorrow appears in the notice, you may need to edit the notice to make sure it is correct. If in doubt use “on” and include the date, for example on Monday, 19th November.

It’s free for funeral directors to publish death notices on RIP.ie. We cover our costs through advertising revenues. We offer first refusal to funeral directors to buy some, or all, of the advertising space surrounding their notices.
Note - The “funeral arrangements by” footer that appears beneath notices is deemed advertising space. To be fair to those funeral directors who are paying to have their contact details included beneath their notices, funeral directors who are not advertising with us, are kindly asked not to sign off death notices with “all enquiries to...”, “funeral arrangements by...” or "donations c/o...", for charities, feel free to include the charity address or website.
- If you would like to take some advertising space surrounding your notices, contact us by clicking here.
