Is there a cost to publish a notice on RIP.ie?
No. It is free to publish death notices on RIP.ie and we cover our costs through advertising revenues. We offer first refusal to funeral directors to buy some, or all, of the advertising space surrounding their notices and rates (excluding VAT) are given below. We can invoice monthly, quarterly or annually, depending on volume and your adverts remain active on ALL of your notices, including those notices published prior to taking any paid advertising, for the period of time that you advertise with us.
Rates to advertise alongside your notice are as follow: (rates exclude VAT)
1. Footer + top banner €10 per notice
2. Footer + top banner + 3 ads alongside notices - €12 per notice
If you do not take any advertising surrounding your notices, to be fair to those funeral directors who are paying to have their contact details included beneath their notices, we kindly ask that you do not sign off death notices with “all enquiries to...”, “funeral arrangements by...” or "donations c/o...". In the case of donations, feel free to include the charity address or website.
